With the success of his anointed son Akinwunmi Ambode at the poll as requested, I believe it is now time for the Oba of Lagos to lift the fatwa he placed on Igbos in Lagos for peace to reign.Days before the election,the Oba vowed that any Igbo man who refused to vote for his candidate will end up in the Lagoon..The statement was condemned across the globe as a hate speech unbecoming of a revered leader..Some Igbo groups and individuals vowed to drag the monarch to the International criminal court in the Hague.Last saturday, Lagosians voted massively for Akin Ambode and Jimi Agbaje..Amobode won and Agbaje has conceded defeat..Its now time for all of us to move on in peace and harmony.The Oba should do the needful by embracing the Igbos who over the years have become a part and parcel of the larger Lagos.
