While I am still condemning the hate speech by Oba of Lagos against igbos but I am so glad with the fact that it has finally showed the political dynamism and relevance of the igbos I. Lagos politics..Never in the history of Lagos will anyone ask the silly question "who are the igbos" like one idiot who is washing plates and sweeping the streets of London asked on my page yesterday..igbos have suddenly become the talking point in the polity of Lagos..For the first time in the city of aquatic splendour three ignos were elected into the HOUSE OF REPS beating their yoruba opponents..They alson influenced the election of three others .I had it on good authority that Hon Gbajabiamila almost narrowly lost his election in surulere..This to me is a welcome development..It reaffirms my earlier position that Lagos is home to all..I have a better chance of even getting elected in Lagos State than Imo state where I came from..Over 95percent of my friends I met in Lagos..The igbos should see the statement of the oba from a positive angle..its a call to duty like the israelites in egypt..its a call to unity..lets our diversity be our unity.
I thank Lagos for the privileges given me ,I will not take it for granted neither should I be threatened unnecessarily.. Lagos is our home,we will not drown in the lagoon, if we do,will the oba of Lagos inherit our properties.. Igbos lets move on,we ve made statement with our reactions..its time to move.lets forget the ranting old policeman with his rantings..its always in his character..he has told a respected son of yoruba land obasanjo worse things..EKO ONI BAJE O..CKN
