Bring Back Our Girls Campaigners Ask Buhari To Rescue Chibok Girls

Campaigners pushing for the rescue of 219 girls kidnapped in Chibok have stepped-up pressure on Nigeria’s President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, to make their safe return a top priority of his new government.
At a small rally in Abuja on Thursday, campaigners called on Buhari to place the issue at the “top of the transition agenda”. President Goodluck Jonathan’s failure to rescue the girls created international outrage and was seen a factor in many Nigerians voting against him. Boko Haram extremists took nearly 300 schoolgirls from a boarding school in Chibok almost a year ago
