Tragedy Hits Imo Community (Umungwa Obowo) As Mother And Son Were Buried Same Day

It was a tragedy of immeasurable proportion as a mother and her son were buried at Umungwa Obowo Imo State on Friday 13th March 2015.The unfortunate incident which is coming barely five months after the woman's other son was also buried has thrown the ver peaceful community into great mourning..
It all started in September 2014 when the eldest son of Madam Okafor,Ejike Gabriel Okafor a man in his 50s who works in Port Harcourt suddenly died without any traces of illness..He left behind his wife,seven Children and an aged mother.Gabriel was buried in the community in October..Early January 2015 ,his mother died in another mysterious circumstances. Arrangement was in top get to giver her a befitting burial by his only surviving son Japhet..Burial was fixed for Friday March 13th .. In the most tragic story ,his son Japhet (49 ) suddenly died on February 19th 2015 while he was putting finishes touches for his mother's burial..It was therefore decided that both Japhet and his mother will be buried the same day..The burial took place today at Umuokoroma ,Umungwa Village in Obowo LGA of Imo State..The event was witnessed by a large crowd of friends and sympathisers of the family..Both corpses are seen these pictures obtained by CKN Nigeria crew at the event today
