Reports from Biu Local Government Area of Borno State, on Friday,
indicated that two persons have been arrested in connection with the suicide
bomb attack at main market in the area.
The suspects are said to have made startling revelations in their
confessions which were recorded before they were handed over to security
operatives who had saved them from lynching.
After the blast, the Emir of Biu, Alhaji Umar Mustapha, had called for
prayers for those behind the act to be unmasked.
According to a report, one of the suspected sponsors of the attack, who
was released after being questioned by security operatives, is currently on the
run
