Some loyalists of Senator Musiliu Obanikoro today stormed the National Assembly in Abuja calling for his confirmation for the second time as a Minister of the Federal Republic. According to them ,there are plans by the opposition APC to scuttle the confirmation of the minister designate at the Senate.. Some of the posters read,OBANIKORO IS GOOD FOR THE JOB..APC LEAVE OBANIKORO ALONE,APC STOP ATTACKING OBANIKORO etc.The Senate is expected to confirm the 8 new ministers next week

It is only in this country under Jonathan that a man like Obanikoro with a grevious allegation on him will be made a minister. The senators , should be told that history will not forgive them if our nascent democracy is truncated by desperate Jonathan and his Ijaw brothers.
