Call Asari To Order,Northern Group Tells Goodluck

Former Niger Delta militant, Alhaji Mujahid Asari- Dokubo, has in­curred the wrath of some leaders in the North over his statements that Presi­dent Goodluck Jonathan has already won the 2015 presidential election and threats that the country will be on fire if he did not win.
At a news conference in Abuja yesterday, one of the northern leaders and Patron of the Middle Belt Forum, Ambassador Yohanna Mar­gif, warned Asari-Dokubo to be careful with his ut­terances, saying his state­ments were capable of setting in more sentiments and crises that would not beneficial to the country.
He said Asari-Dokubo’s threats to Nigerians over President Jonathan was a slap on the faces of other Nigerians, noting that as much as he had the right to support Jonathan for Presidency as a South- South militant, many other Nigerians too had the right  to do so for any of their candidate but should not be threatened by Dokubo.
Calling on President Jonathan to call Asari-Do­kubo to order, the northern leader also warned the for­mer militant leaders to stop making inciting statement over the general elections.
He said the same Asari- Dokubo had declared early last year that the president had lost the support of his political base, the South- South and the South-East due to the failure of his government to deliver on its promises.

    But when Buhari makes such statements its okay with the Northern People.

    In as much as I agree that Asari should be called to order, I believe the North is playing double standard and has no moral justification to ask the president to do so. During the 2011 elections, Buhari and other northern elements said the same thing and actually carried out their threat and the North found nothing wrong with it and allowed it to happen. None even condemned it. Today, that same moron on whose hands the blood of those innocent young Nigerians are upon is now being projected as the only messiah that can save this country. He will fail again as usual and this time other parts of this country will be ready for them. Nigeria will not disintegrate.
