MEGA Winners Light Up 30th LTV Xmas Funfair

Efforts of Footprints (executive Producers of MEGA Awards) to open up Nigerian gospel music to wider audience have started bearing fruits as four award winners have been contracted to feature in this year's edition of the highly popular LTV Christmas Funfair. This is the Fair's 30th year!

In the words of Mrs. Deola Salako (Chairman,  LTV Special Events Committee), "the Lagos Television Christmas Funfair is the oldest Christmas village in Nigeria and still ranks as the most patronised and best organised with very popular appeal accentuated by the ever increasing population of children visiting the grotto every year.

"Flavoured with live music performances by established and up-coming music artistes, the LTV Xmas Funfair has a daunting profile of scoring three decades of excellence this year".

Based on the performance programme rolled out by the TV station, Taiwo Oladoye (2013 Best New Artiste and winner of the 2014 Best Afropop Single) will perform 2pm on Sunday, December 14, 2014. Four days after, the 2013 Artiste of the Year and multiple award winning musician and producer, Nathan "FloRocka" Akiremi will show his stuff on Thursday, Dec. 18 (incidentally his birthday).

Two other MEGA winners this year are also listed to perform - Itunu Segun-Oseni (Best Medley in Yoruba with "Alanu Mi") takes the stage on Friday, Dec. 19) while Da'Son (winner of Best Rap Single) wraps it up on Tuesday, Dec. 23).

Already, videos, hypes and chats of the artistes have been running on the television, and patrons of the LTV Xmas Funfair are surely in for a mega experience
