Political thugs led by Hon
member of the Edo State House of Assembly Phillips Shiabu (APC) yesterday
attacked a fellow member of the Edo State House of Assembly Hon. Rasak Momoh(PDP) at his residence within
the legislators quarters in Benin, the Edo State capital.
Hon. Rasak was said to have
been beaten unconscious and is now lying critically ill at University of Benin Teaching
Hospital.
It will be recalled that Hon
Rasak in the past has alleged that his signature was forged by the APC faction
of EDHA members during the key moment of the fracas that erupted at the House
of Assembly some months ago.
The police report into the investigation
is due to be make public this week.
Rasak had also raised an
alarm two weeks ago that Governor Adams Oshiomhole has hired assassins from the
riverine area of the state to eliminate him.
What shall it profit a a man if he gains the whole world and suffers the loss of his soul? The late Bob Marley said this... You fighting for power but you don't know the hour. The book of galatians 6,7 states... Be informed God is never mocked, anything you sow, that you shall reap. Edo policticians and indeed all Politicians in Nigeria, pleade pollitics is not a do or die game .Some of our politicians are Shameless. It is a pity for the comming generation. They are watching us . The police should as a matter of urgency arrest the A.P.C hon and chargd him to court for attemted murder. This is madness of the first order.
