2015:Goodluck Jonathan Set To Declare At TAN Finally Rally In Abuja On Saturday


If everything goes as planned, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will formally declare his intension to contest the 2015 Presidential election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic party on Saturday 18th October 2014.

According to to information obtained by CKN Nigeria, the President is expected to use the final rally of the Transformation Agenda of Nigeria rally scheduled for the Eagles Square Abuja on Saturday to formally do the needful.

This is coming on the heels of the declaration by some notable members of the opposition (APC) eyeing the   same seat.

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar few weeks back declared his intention to contest the election under the APC. He matched his words with action yesterday when he picked his nomination form with N27m

Another frontline candidate of the Party, Former Head Of State, Gen Muhammadu Buhari will formally declare today in a ceremony scheduled to take place in Abuja.

The Pro Jonathan group (TAN ) has in the last months held rallies in the notable Geo Political zones of the country.

The fully attended rallies were held in Enugu, Ibadan , Port Harcourt  ,Minna and Gombe.

The organizers   alleged to have gathered over 12 million verifiable signatories endorsing the candidature of President  Goodluck Jonathan.

If the President finally declares on Saturday as expected, then that will mark the commencement what will become the most contested Presidential election in Nigeria’s history.

The President has earlier on been endorsed as the consensus candidate of the Party.
