Muhammadu Buhari To Declare For Presidency October 8th

Former Military Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu Buahari (rtd) will on October 8 declare his ambition to contest the presidential ticket of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
This will be two weeks after the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar also declared his presidential ambition.
Others to also be said to be nursing presidential ambitions but who have not yet formally declared their ambitions are: Governor of Kano State..., Rabiu Kwankwanso, Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole and Publisher of Leadership Newspaper, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah.
It was gathered from a reliable source that the former Head of State and his supporters have drawn up an elaborate programe for the launching of his presidential bid which will begin with the public presentation on October 8.
The plan for Buhari’s formal declaration for presidency came on the heels of the approval of the time table for party primaries and fee for nomination forms by the APC’s National Executive Committee (NEC) .
While speaking to journalists shortly after the NEC meeting, the party’s National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun said the party is exited over the level of interest generated by those wishing to compete for the APC presidential ticket.
“As far as the party concerned, the more, the merrier because they help in the process of membership mobilization, particularly when they are from different parts of the country. And we have not put any geographical barriers as to who becomes our presidential candidate. We hope to seize the political space when the candidates come out and this will happen almost weakly from now, ” he said.

  1. We don't want any HOUSA man again. Nigeria should hold a referendum that will lead us to seeing Nigeria Cut the Northern Nigeria out of Nigeria and whoever that wants to join them will have a choice to make.
