The wife of the President, Patience Jonathan today said she will lead a protest in Maiduguri next week if the abducted students at Chibok in Borno State were not released. The first lady stated this when she hosted the wives of the 36 State Governors in Abuja. The first lady expressed shock on how the school girls were abducted .She ordered that the principal of the school as well as teachers and invigilators at the exam should be invited for interrogation .Also speaking at the meeting ,the Head of WAEC, National Office, Mr Charles Eguridu told the gathering that the examination body has made some reservation about having the examination in the school due to some security challenges but was assured of adequate security for the school. According to him, his organisation recommended that the examination should be moved to another centre where adequate security was guaranteed but the government said that was not necessary. The official also displayed the register containing the details and passports of the students.

ReplyDeleteOfuchi the literate, your commnts is always insultive espcially when it has to do with the office or the family of the President. Take it or leave it, that is the first Lady's way of showing concern on the abduction. Most Nigerians do not have respect for themselves likewise others.
