Dora Akinyuli To Be Flown To India As Health Condition Worsens

Former Minister of Information, Dora Akunyili will be flown to India today (Sunday ) as her health situation worsens.

A competent source close to the former NAFDAC boss who spoke to CKN Nigeria on condition of anonymity this morning said,it has become necessary to fly Dora back to India based on her doctors advice.Dora who has been in and out of hospital in the past few months is said to be suffering from acute Kidney problem which has seen here visiting various hospitals at home and abroad. As the rumours spread about her true state of health,she suddenly made an appearance at the on going National Conference.

The ebullient Dora was a shadow of her old self, she lost so much wealth. She came out to ,but acknowledge the illness and said she was much better but all indication points to the contrary as her condition  was said to have relapsed .She has not made any appearance at the conference of late.
The Anambra State born indigene was a thorn in the flesh of fake drug manufacturers while she was at NAFDAC..Under her,so many wars were fought and won against drug adulteration..This put her life on line with drug barons,leading to an attempt on her..She was later made a minister under late Musa Yar'Adua and retained same position under the current government before resigning to pursue her political ambition as a senator of the federal Republic..She was defeated by incumbent Senator,Chris Ngige.
