Ritualist Cell Discovered In Ogun State

A cell suspected to be where ritualists house their victims or severed human parts has been discovered in Iyana Egbado village, Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State.
A young man identified as Gbenga who was found bearing human parts was arrested Wednesday by the police in connection with the cell located under a dual carriage bridge at Ewekoro – Itori s...tretch of the Lagos – Abeokuta expressway.
The discovery of the underneath – the – bridge – cell followed the intervention of a good Samaritan who rescued a woman on the verge of being abducted and killed for ritual purposes by the suspect – Gbenga.
It was gathered that the good Samaritan after rescuing the woman from her would- be -attacker, became suspicious of the cellophane bag the suspect was carrying and upon ripping it open forcefully, sliced pieces flesh believed be human parts poured to the ground.
The Nation gathered that the Good – Samaritan quickly raised the alarm which attracted the Egbado villagers but fearing that the angry and curious villagers were about to mob him, he pleaded for mercy, saying he would confess.
A witness said Gbenga who said he hails from Ado – Ekiti in Ekiti State later brought out his handset and made calls across to some people and thereafter, was whisked away by the police.
Items which included human parts sliced into pieces, plastic containers filled with human blood, ladies pants, braziers, ladies and men shoes and blood stained dresses.
Other items included knives, various non – functioning electronics parts, assorted soft drinks.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said it is too early to establish any allegation of ritual – related case against the suspect or ascertain correctly the nature of the strange pieces of flesh found on him.
