Goodluck Sacks Powerful Special Adviser On Political Affairs (Gulak)

The Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Alhaji Ahmed A. Gulak has been relieved of his appointment.
A statement this afternoon by the Special Adviser to the President on Media, Dr Reuben Abati said the termination of Gulak's appointment was with immediate effect.
Dr Abati said the President thanked Alhaji Gulak "for his services to the present administration and wishes him success in his future endeavours."
CKN Nigeria investigation has shown that the last straw that break Gulak's back was his recent dabbling into the politics in Akwa Ibom State.Gulak recently visited Akwa Ibom State where he inaugurated some opposition party faithful of PDP who were against Governor Godswill Akpabio as members of Goodluck 2015 campaign team. This action infuriated Akpabio who informed the President to call his adviser to order.Gulak's action was said to have infuriated the President who has to choose between his adviser and the more powerful Chairman of PDP Governors Forum.Goodluck according to our investigation has no choice than to ask Gulak to throw in the towel or be sacked.
...
According to Dr Abati, a replacement for Alhaji Gulak would be announced in due course.

  2. Gulak will now understand that the ogogoro man from Utuoke is not a man to trust. He has made many enemies for himself because of insults that he was heaping on Jonathan's opponents . Gulak has clearly shown that he does not understand the nigerian political terrain that is repleted will liars and evil men. Sorry.
