Pastor Arrested For Conducting Virginity Test On 12 Years Old Member With Finger

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a pastor, Mr. Adekunle Kayode, who is in charge of Jesus Is The Way Evangelistic Ministry, in Abeokuta, the state capital, while conducting virginity test on his member.

The 34-year-old man who conducted the virginity in the church premises, was arrested in his house at No 3 Okeyidi in Abeokuta as the victim narrated her ordeal to her father who immediately alerted the police.

Another suspect, Onatade Oluwasegun, who resides at No. 23 Sheriff Onatade Street in Obantoko was arrested for conspiring with the said pastor to allegedly use the victim for a ritual purpose.
The father of the victim revealed that the pastor used his finger severally in his daughter’s womanhood even when she was on her menstrual period for reasons best known to him.

The victim alleged that Oluwasegun used a charm with a view to raping her as directed by the pastor possibly for a ritual but “God saved me.”
During the investigation, the police recovered the suspected charm from the pastor in the church premises.

The commissioner had directed that the matter be transferred to the state Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Eleweran for further investigation

  3. Because muslims don't go to d mosque for miracles and delieverance! They only go there to pray for like 5mins and disperse back home. No time for chit chat and over familiarity in d mosque

  4. The rape and untowards behaviour of pastors is frequently hitting the news. I suggest that any of such occurence henceforth, the pastor should be jailed without option of fine to deter others

  5. You don't normally hear of such arrests in mosques cos it is a normal thing to meet alfas for traditional help as they are close to such purposes unlike the pastors who claim to have left all those kind of tradition behind and facing only Jesus. This tradition help is called 'ajo' in yoruba and muslims do that naturally for people so it is not frowned down at. Also, it has been announced that they have sharia law which has been accepted in their court of law so whatever they do is accepted!
