Obesere Speaks To CKN,Denies Rape Story

Nigeria Fuji star, Alhaji Abass Akande popularly known as Obesere has refuted the report linking him to the rape a 29 years old business woman, Miss Olanike Olaiya in Lagos.

In a chat with CKN Nigeria today (Wednesday),Obesere said there was no iota of truth in the allegation.

According to him, those behind the story were out to blackmail and extort money from him.

Hear him,CKN my brother,there is no iota of truth in that story. As we speak now, i am in the comfort of my house, contrary to the story that i have been detained by the police. Last week Saturday,i performed at Ilesha,Osun State. That can also be verified. So at what point was i detained. Do detainees pick calls in police cells.

These people are just out to blackmail and extort money from me. I work so hard for my money and no one can take it from me.

Nigeria has laws and people should obey the law. You cannot just wake up with unverifiable stories just because you don’t like my face.

Anyway, they are only making me popular by their negative stories.

All they said about me is just cock and bull story just targeted at rubbishing my image but God is greater that every one of us.

Kindly tell all my fans not to panic because, the stories were just cooked up.

At the appropriate time, ill address it.

The alleged victim, Olaiya, a National Diploma graduate of business administration from Ibadan Polytechnic, had earlier narrated her ordeal. Hear her,“I got to know Obesere through one of my friends, Mrs Bola Okoro. She told me that Obesere would assist me in my business.

 

“I deal in office equipment and when I contacted Obesere, he asked me to meet him in his family house at Okota. When I met him, I introduced my business to him and he promised to connect me to some of his friends in Dubai who would sell goods to me on credit.

 

“After the discussion, he started demanding for sex and I refused and when I wanted to leave, he insisted I should sleep over in his house because it was late and he claimed that it was dangerous to go out late in the night in his area.

 

“I thought he was a responsible man and I decided to sleep over, but at the dead of the night, he came into the room where I slept and pounced on me.

 

“He raped me and afterwards inserted a ring he wore into my private part and I started bleeding. He hurriedly left me in the room saying he had an appointment to fulfil.

 

“I could not bear the trauma and the bleeding and I reported the matter to the police.”

Many people spoken to by CKN Nigeria picked holes in Miss Olaiya’s story.

Some of the questions they asked were, how come Miss Olaiya stayed at Obesere’s house so late even if she went there for a business transaction?.

Did Miss Olaiya raise an alarm when she was being raped by Obesere?

Obesere is a married man with children, were they the only one in the entire house when the rape case took place.

How come she decided to sleep over in the matrimonial home of a man , knowing fully well that he is married.

Who are those trying to use Miss Olaiya to blackmail Obesere.

Did Miss Olaiya actually ask for monetary gratification from the Fuji star?.
