Military Capture Boko Haram Slaughterer

A top Boko Haram operative, who specialises in bloodshed, has been captured by Nigerian security forces operating with the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) near the border with Chad.
He was captured as the force continued its offensive along the Chadian border in its bid to dislodge insurgents killing and maiming people in the three North Eastern states of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe.
This was revealed in a statement signed by the Director of Defence Information (DDI), Maj-Gen Chris Olukolade on Friday.
According to the DDI, the task force also repelled a dusk attack by terrorists in their bid to overrun markets in communities in the outskirts of Monguno and NNPC at New Marte, Borno State along the border with Chad.
He said that over 50 assorted brands of grenades and 11 AK 47 rifles were recovered from the fleeing terrorists.
He said that cordon and search operations are still ongoing at the general area while heightened patrols are continuing.
And in a related development, Gen Olukolade said, interrogation of captured terrorists from various locations has been yielding useful information as to their modus operandi.
“Among those in our custody is a suspect whose speciality is butchering human beings. He said he does not use firearms but daggers and cutlasses for his task,” he said.
Olukolade further said that troops on a stop and search patrol, Friday afternoon in Maiduguri arrested a man suspected to be a terrorist with an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), which was not primed. The DDI said the suspect was still undergoing interrogation.

  7. The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he frustrates the plans of the peoples. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! The Lord looks down from heaven; he sees all the children of man; from where he sits enthroned he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth,
