His Excellency, the Executive Governor of the state, Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha, OON, has graciously approved and forwarded the names of five illustrious sons and one illustrious daughter of the state for the forthcoming National Conference to be held in Abuja.In a letter forwarded to the Secretary of the Government of the Federation and personally signed by His Excellency and dated, February 20, 2014, a renowned politician in the state with character, Engr. Dr. Ezekiel ...Izuogu would represent Orlu zone, while Chief Bob Njemanze and Chief (Mrs.) Chidinma Uwajumogu would represent Owerri and Okigwe zones respectively.
Chief Uzoma Iheme Nwosu, Prof. Chinedu Nwajiuba, and Chief Cyril Amako would also be at the conference to represent ethnic interest with the governor stating that the letter of February 20, 2014 supersedes his earlier letter dated February 14, 2014.
