Ibadan Hosts Glo Laffta Fest Grand Finale Sunday

The "Original Bad Boy", Akpororo, , Chee The Voice, Odogwu, Funny Bone, Osama and fans at the Glo Laffta Fest held in Asaba on Sunday.
Globacom will round off its 10-week Africa's biggest comedy show, the Glo Laffta Fest, in Ibadan this Sunday. 
An array of internationally acclaimed comedians and musicians will lock down the city at the event scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at the Kakanfo Hotel Event Centre, Ibadan.
In a radio hype currently airing across Ibadanland, Globacom said the best of Nigerian comedy stars will entertain guests at the show with the hottest jokes, while top musicians will serve them the biggest Nigerian music hits. 
Among the artistes scheduled to perform at the show tagged “Invasion LOL” areEast Africa's best comedian, Salvador from Uganda, Nigeria’s Basketmouth,  Seyi Law and Akpororo who is currently rated as Nigeria's hottest comedian. Others are Gbenga Adeyinka, Osama, Bash, Omo Baba and Odogwu.

The show's anchor, Basketmouth, said a number of surprise performances have also been scheduled by the organisers.  "The intention of Glo is to keep the guests laughing and rocking until they drop!", he said.
It was further disclosed that top Glo music ambassador, D’Banj, will leave the guests on the "Top of the World", asking for more like "Oliver Twist".
Said Basketmouth on the Grand Finale of 2013 Glo Laffta Fest: "Wande Coal will give you the musical 'Kick' and leave you 'Rotating' in wild ecstasy while MI will show you why he is 'Africa's Rapper Number 1' beyond looking for a lady in the audience who will love him whether he has 'N1' or One Million naira. DJ Jimmy Jatt and many others will keep you dancing until you can jam no more. This is a show you will never forget! "

The 2013 edition of Glo Laffta Fest was packaged as part of the activities marking the 10th year  anniversary of Globacom.
Globacom enjoined fun seekers in Ibadan and neighbouring towns that want to be part of the show to "simply recharge with N1, 000 and send "LOL Ibadan" to the short code 33001 while those who are not on the Glo network but also desire to be at the show can port to Glo or obtain Glo SIM cards at the venue, register same and recharge with N1, 000 to enter.
