The pastor (names withheld) has been
arrested over the alleged murder of the child.
Although details of investigation
were still sketchy at press time, it was gathered that the pastor was allegedly
caught burying the dead child in a shallow grave within the church premises.
It was learnt that the said pastor
was caught by a neighbor, who had gone out to ease himself at 2a.m., weekend,
digging the grave. The neighbour, whose identity was not disclosed, was said to
have alerted other residents.
They were said to have reported their
findings to policemen at Idimu Division, consequent upon which a team was
drafted to the church.
The policemen, as gathered, dug the
shallow grave where they discovered and exhumed the body of a baby girl. The
body was deposited at the mortuary.

ReplyDeleteThe name was withheld because we don't know the details of what happened. We might end up finding out the the baby died of natural causes and he just wanted it to be buried in the house of god. If that turns out to be the case and they have already published his name then his reputation will be tarnished. Please think before you write.

Let this be a lesson to those who think they know everything when your child dies let the police know first or else you will end up like the pastor with lots of explanations to do.
If he is helping to bury d body of d little girl,should d church b d right place,wht of d parents of d girl,don't think he should hv alerted people if actually he is innocent n Y bury d dead body at dat god forsaken hour,so many questions to b answered by d pastor which shows there is sometin wrong somewhere if u ask me,I rest my case.
