Poser:Should Gov Suntai Continue As Taraba State Governor?

After a look at the frail nature of Gov Suntai on arrival yesterday and his inability to be able to utter a word, highly assisted to walk, finding it quite difficult to even wave his hands..Do you think ,the State of affairs of Taraba State should still be handed over to this man or should he just go, resign and take a well deserved rest..?..CKN

  1. We sympathise with His Excellency over d poor state of his health. As it is,the state, which is above any individual, can ill afford stagnation. I believe d long suffering people of the state deserve governance from a healthy and fit person as Governor. Remember the Yar'Adua saga?We should learn from our past and most importantly, constitutional safeguards. What is d House of Assembly doing?Partners in subversion of the constitution. The Deputy governor shd be sworn in as substantive Governor. PERIOD!

  3. Its ver unfortunate that our young democracy has been mixed up with a lot of religiuos and tribal ingridients rather than the true political will. Its obvious in Taraba politics, the duputy is suppose to be sworn in long before now.Religious and tribal bigotry won't take us anywhere.

  11. We must appreciate God for spearing his life and the recovery. Gov suntai will need rest for his own benefit. Therefore the family shld seek for his resignation honourably.
