Report reaching CKN Nigeria from reliable sources at the
Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has it that two Nigerian GSM
companies, Etisalat and Nigerian home grown GSM company Globacom have been the
greatest gainers of the newly introduced Mobile Number Portability.
Our source also mentioned that MTN Nigeria has been the
greatest loser with many of its dissatisfied customers porting daily.
Globacom for instance was rated high for its network stability,
customer friendly acumen as well as low rate charges.
Most of its recently launched products and promos have
also carved a niche for Otunba Mike Adenuga Jnr owned company.
The Mobile Number Portability was introduced to get
aggrieved customers of GSM services to port to other networks of the choice
without losing their original number.
