Disregard Commissioners Sack Notice,Ag Gov Tells Tarabians..Put Banks On Notice

The Taraba State state government has advised the public to disregard last Wednesday’s announcement of the purported dissolution of the state executive council and the appointment of a new Secretary to the State Government (SSG), as well as the Chief of Staff.

It said the announcement was a mere attempt by a cabal to hijack the machineries of governance in the state.

A press release issued on Thursday night and signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the acting governor, Mr Kefas Sule, a copy of which was made available to Press men in Jalingo, also asked bankers of the state government to note that all financial instruments relating to the state government should be honoured only if they were in tandem with the provisions of the law.
