Economic Activities Paralyzed In Lagos Over Abibatu Mogaji

Obafemi Awolowo Way,Ikeja Stores under lock and key this afternoon
Economic activities were paralyzed at the various markets in Lagos State today in honour of the Iya Oloja of Lagos and mother of former Lagos State Governor (Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu),Alhaja Abibatu Magoji.CKN Nigeria visit to some of the markets at Alaba International,Balogun,Ojoolowo,Computer Village Ikeja,Oshodi,Obalende,Ketu,Agege Spare parts market Matori and other markets showed that all the stores were locked up..Most customers that CKN Nigeria crew spoke to said they were taken unaware by the situation.Marketers were seen loitering about.The shutdown according to some economic experts must have cost the State billions of Naira in revenue

Its totally irresponsible of govt to shut down the market without adequate notice and preparation for the pple of the state, am a lagosian and I respect Mama so much, but mama,s death should not cause pain...mama lived for the masses, honouring her should not bring about pain hunger and anger to the women she lived for.   2. I don't know why we disturb ourself in this country. As for me, there's no sense at all in this decision. What happened to those that feeds on their daily income? This is nonsense decision by anybody that announced this. Because of one person they parallysed business of millions of pple.   5. I tire oh. Two days running now. They forgot that some people travell down to lagos to buy goods. A friend has been in lagos since sunday. She can't buy anything just roaming about. Tinubu e don do a beg. Mama don go rest

All of u dey beef tinubu, they only honoured d mother , wetin now concern u wn he choosed abibat as his mother, and Abibat was mkt mother of lagos if any1 that's inflential in nigeria died , no matter how they always honoured the person, now dt she was tinibu's parent u ppl want 2 die ontop of nonsence rubbish comments, meanwhile most of lagosian ppl knew d woman very well.
