Kidnapped Female NTA Staff Released After Paying N1m Ransom



A journalist with the Nigerian Television Authority in Akure, Ondo State, Olubunmi Oke, who was kidnapped on Thursday, has been freed.Oke was freed late on Saturday.It was learnt that Oke’s husband took the ransom money to the kidnappers.Oke was kidnapped on Thursday on her way back from work.Her baby and house help were dropped at the point of abduction.
Oke’s car was later found in another part of Akure, the Ondo State capital.The kidnappers initially demanded for N16 million.The ransom money was later reduced to N8 million and then N1 million

  3. Thank God she is well n alive, police investigate properly as I believe it is an in-house case. Nigerians watch your backs as kidnapping has gradually become an accepted norm in our society. But wait, I am watching with keen interest what will happen b4 n aft 2015 elections.
