The annual Abuja International film festival kicks off
in the federal capital territory Abuja today.
The three day event will end on 28th
September 2012.The festival which has become a one stop shop for movies and
film producers has been adjudged as one of the biggest film festivals in
Africa.
It will feature movie premiers, symposiums, collegiate
interactions as well as award ceremony.
The Founder and coordinator of the festival, Nollywood
ace Producer/director Fidelis Duker in a chat with CKN Nigeria this morning,
the festival is aimed at showcasing the best of Nigeria to the rest of the
world.
Several participants from across the globe are already
in the country for the event which will hold at the Silverbird Galleria
opposite Sheraton Hotels and Towers in the Central business district of the
