Nigeria's today won
Africa’s reigning Champion Tunisia 60-56 in the men's basketball competition of
the 2012 Olympic Games .
The Nigerian team won
against all odds against a Tunisian Team that has been a thorn in the flesh of many
Africa opponents in the past one year.
With this victory,the
country is now poised for other countries in the competition including
favourites,the USA
Also 20-year-old Nigerian
boxer, Muideen Akanji, today crashed out of the on going London Olympic following
injuries he carried over from home. He was one of the hopefuls for Nigeria at the event..CKN In London
