TWO EX LASU PROFESSORS DIE ON DEMOCRACY DAY

Two Nigerian erudite scholars died today (Democracy Day)

They are Prof Abisogun Bababunmi ,the former Vice Chancellor Of Lagos State University who died in Lagos.

The second is Prof Abubakar Momoh,the DG of INEC Democratic Institute who also died in Abuja.

Both scholars had something in common,they were former lectures at LASU.

While Prof Bababunmi an alumnus of Igbobi College Lagos,was a Professor of Biochemistry,Prof Momoh majored in Political Science.

Their death came as a shock to many.

Prof Bababunmi was the third Vice Chancellor of LASU after taking over from Late Prof Mrs Jadesola Akande

They died after a brief illness
