PICTURES FROM FEC MEETING (BUHARI ABSENT AGAIN)

These are pictures from today's Federal Executive Council (FEC) Meeting held at the Presidential Council Chambers, State House Abuja.

 Conspicuously  absent was President Muhammadu Buhari who was expected to Chair the meeting

The meeting was presided over  by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Also in attendance were Ministers ,Chief of Staff to the Preasident and Head of service

No reason was given for the President's absence ,the third in a row.He has not been seen in public for some weeks and was only alleged to have resumed work yesterday.

The President's current state of health has been generating a whole of controversies with some prominent Nigerians calling for immediate resignation while others ask him to take an immediate trip abroad for medical checkup.

His wife Aisha in a Press release thanked Nigerians for their prayers and show of love towards her husband,stating that his health situation is not "as bad as many thought"

Its not yet ascertained if the President will eventually turn up at the meeting before the end of the day
