All eyes shifts to Abia State today as the Supreme Court delivers it's judgement on the Abia Gubernatorial election suit.
Apprehension pervades the entire State as Abians await a final say in the lingering political logjam.
Incumbent Governor,Okezie Ikpeazu who in the past two years has shown purposeful leadership will know if he'll be allowed to complete his term.
Standing on his way is another PDP candidate and business mogul Uche Ogah.
The legal tussle began immediately after the election.Okezie Ikpeazu has so far surmounted various challenges to upturn his mandate.
Several other candidates including his arch rival Alex Otti of APGA have fallen by the wayside in the attempt to wrestle power from the PDP .
Uche Ogah at a point almost claimed the the mandate after a disputed judgement by Justice Okon Abang who ordered him to be sworn in immediately.
That attempt was not implemented as Okezie Ikpeazu went on appeal.
Speaking exclusively to CKN News this morning,the Press Secretary to the Governor Enyinnaya Appolos said his boss is upbeat that the judgement will favour.
He is not losing sleep at all,he said.According to him,God's will ,will be done.
He asked Abians to go about their normal duties without fear.
