Mr Emeka Nwosu's car
If you are in Abuja and seek to transact business with the banks, you must take precautions. A robbery syndicate that operates around banking premises is on the prowl.

On Friday, 9th Sept, 2016, members of the syndicate smashed the side screen of the car belonging to Mr Emeka Nwosu, a prominent Nigerian journalist and former Political Editor of the Daily Times.

According to him,the car was parked within the vicinity of First Bank, Coomassie House, Central Area, Abuja. The robbers gained access to the booth and carted away his laptop, travelling bag containing personal wears, cash and valuable documents including cheque books and disappeared into thin air.

All this was happening while he was inside the banking hall. Although some arrests were made by the Police but no breakthrough yet.

It was also alleged that a senior military officer also lost about N1,000,000 in same circumstances in the premises of the same bank recently.
