Real Aba breeds initiative(RABBI) is an organisation of
few concerned young men and women born and raised in Aba especially in the
seventies and Eighties who though professionals in different fields of
life,share same passion for total socio-economic re-organization of the town of
their birth.
So thus came" RABBI" as a corporate body registered to
spearhead their dream to restore Aba and redirect it to its glorious future via
re-orientation of the people in the town,sensitization on waste management and
need for behavioral change.
Our major aim,is to carry every Aba person along to
successfully re-face the social and enviromental face thereby raising its
economic value to the people in the region and beyond.we are aware that proper
waste management is one of the greatest challenges Aba is facing and so
every person resident in Aba,has role to play in ensuring that there is
adequate improvement in that area of life in the town,re-orientation and need
for total behavioral change are the catalyst to spurn the much needed
improvement in that social aspect of the town.
Re-facing Aba project comprises 3 major events on which
the activities of "RABBI"will be hinged on for a start,as the
activities of the organization will expand as the first objectives are
successfully realized.these includes:youth re-orientation/empowerement
symposium,waste management confab and face of Aba Ambassador.
The symposium and confab will draw participation from
cultural and religious leaders and leaders of socio-economic facets of Aba
including presidents of the markets,keke operators,transportation
unions,secondary school prefects etc.
The face of Aba Ambassador(A beauty pageant with
positive social drive)will be used as a point of attraction,constant reminder
and an entertainment arm of the project with which to help drive our message
home to the youths and also empower the winner and her team with enough
information and resources to constantly create the awareness in town.
