As part of the activities lined up for
the 78th Anniversary of Ikoyi Club 1938, members of the Club visited
the Children Developmental Centre (CDC) located in Surulere, Lagos of Nigeria
on Wednesday, September 28th, 2016.
The Charity Visit , which is part of
the Club’s community service had in attendance the Club’s Chairman, Major
General MufutauBalogun RTD, the Club’s Vice Chairman, in person of Mr Sola
Adeosun, the Honorary Secretary, Mr Tokunbo Ogundipe and other members of the
General Committee and Anniversary Sub Committee
of the Club.
While presenting the Club’s gift to
the Service Director of the Centre, Dr (Mrs) Akindayomi, the Chairman of the
Club expressed his pleasure with the Management of the CDC and urged the
Service Director not to relent in the good work they have set in place.
The Service Director of the CDC
expressed her gratitude to the Club for its continued support to the centre
over the years. She promised that the centre will continue in its stride to
continually improve on the quality of care for the children
