Report reaching CKN News has it that the Federal Road Safety
Commission has apprehended some of those involved in the brutalization of an
officer of the agency in Lagos last week.
According to a very reliable top officer of the agency who
spoke with CKN News on condition of anonymity, the agency deployed its
intelligent arm to fish out the perpetrators of the act using its high tech
vehicle verification platform.
The owner of the car involved was identified, his contact
was established, and the officers of the agency with the assistance of other
law enforcement agents moved him and got him arrested.
From all indications, he will be duly charged to court on
Friday.
It will be recalled that a staff of the agency was
mercilessly beaten up by hoodlums at Jibowu area in Lagos while performing his
duties.
The Corps Marshal of FRSC ,Dr Boboye Oyeyemi while speaking
to CKN News last week vowed that he ll do everything within his power to fish
out those behind the incident as a deterrent to others while assuring his
officers that their safety and welfare and security remains his priority.
