Minister of Transport ,Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi was seen
sitting in the economy class compartment of Arik Air on his way to Lagos from
Abuja this morning.
According to CKN News I Reporter on the same flight
with the minister said,he refused to seat in the business class.
This is her message to CKN News
“This
is to report to the house that Chibuike Amaechi is on board Arik to Lagos and
he is seated beside me.
Yup
in economy class. Two people in business class came to offer him their seats
but he refused.
Falana
is also here. As he sighted him he said, "oh you're with the people! This
is a temporary dispensation."
Amaechi laughs and replies "this is
what my ministry can afford for now. The people in economy are not animals.
They are human beings. .
