INDUSTRIAL COURT STOPS NLC'S PROPOSED STRIKE


The National Industrial Court of Nigeria, today stopped the NLC, TUC and their affiliates from embarking on any nationwide strike action.

The labour unions  had threatened to embark on a nationwide indefinite strike action over the fuel pump price increment by the Federal Government starting from Wednesday.

The motion experte was argued by the Attorney General of the Federation,  Abubakar Malami SAN, before Justice Babatunde Adejumo, the President of the NICN.

The order is however to last for 7 days.
