OGUN STATE GOVT TO BUILD BOOSTER TRANSMITTER FOR OGTV



Ogun state government says plans are in top gear to situate a booster transmission OGTV station in Isheri area of the state to improve the reach of the television station.

Governor Ibikunle Amosun announced this in an interview with journalists after inspecting the newly installed 10 kilowatts transmitter.


Governor Amosun explained that the step was part of the process of his  administration to ensure that the state owned media moved with the trend of technology. He said necessary arrangements had been concluded to ensure that OGTV becomes a national network.


The governor was accompanied by the commissioner for Information & Strategy, Otunba Dayo Adeneye his counterparts from the Youth and Sports ministry, Mr. Afolabi Afuape as well as that of Special Duties, Mr Leke Adewolu among Others.
