ARMY KILLS 7 BOKO HARAM MEMBERS IN BORNO


Members of the Army 7 Brigade have ambushed and killed seven Boko Haram terrorists at Dawashi, Borno State, yesterday.

According to the statement issued to journalists yesterday by the acting director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman, the gallant troops laid in wait at the terrorists suspected crossing point, and engaged them on sight and killed seven of them.
Col.Usman said items recovered from the terrorists include; one Peugeot Station Wagon loaded with 2,010 litres of Premium Motor Spirit packed in  67 jerrry cans, uniforms, some materials and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

Others items recovered are, dry cell batteries, one AK-47 rifle, tools and fish.

“The gallant troops laid in wait at the terrorists suspected crossing point, engaged them on sight and killed the seven terrorists.

“ Troops recovered one Peugeot Station Wagon loaded with 2,010 litres of Premium Motor Spirit packed in 67 jerry cans, uniforms, some materials and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

“ Other items recovered include dry cell batteries, 1 AK – 47 rifle, tools and fish”, said Usman.
