Kidnappers Of Kogi Speaker's Kids Demand N200m Ransom

A source closed to the family stated that the abductors of the Speaker’s children have finally contacted him and demanded for huge amount of money for the release children.
It was gathered that negotiation is still on to ensure that the Speaker’s sons are released as at the time of filling this report.
Meanwhile, Special Adviser to the Speaker on Media, Mr. Felix Udegbu, who spoke on the incident, said it was a mere rumour that the Kidnappers are demanding the sum of N200 million ransom from the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly.
Udegbu stated that such rumour is unfounded and should be disregarded forthwith.
“There is peaceful negotiation between the kidnappers and the speaker in the bid to get the children as soon as possible”, the media aide noted.
It would be recalled that the suspected hoodlums numbering about 10 had forcefully gained entrance into the house of the Speaker after several gun shots.
After the encounter with the wife of the speaker who is the occupant, the kidnappers were said to have ordered for all children in the house out of which two children were abducted, Ogirima, aged 7 and Azeez, aged 3.
The Kidnappers also went away with a Toyota car, a generator, DVD player and demanded for money and the Speaker’s telephone number.
